In 2021, Indonesia held its first-ever Cup of Excellence (COE), the world’s most prestigious coffee competition. Designed to spotlight high-quality coffee from undervalued farmers, this event marked a turning point for Indonesia’s specialty coffee industry.
When the competition was announced, Eco Bike Coffee immediately joined. Since 2015, we’ve been committed to specialty coffee practices in Kintamani, Bali—and it was time to share our work with the world.
Specialty coffee requires precision: uniform beans, clean processing, and distinctive flavor. Our farmers, processors, and baristas worked together to hand-sort every bean, a process that took months of dedication. Finally, we submitted 250 kg of Kintamani natural green beans for evaluation.

By December, the results were in: Eco Bike Coffee scored 86.88 points, earning the title of National Winner and a spot in the COE international auction. This milestone placed us among Bali’s specialty coffee leaders and proved that Kintamani coffee belongs on the global stage.
This achievement isn’t only ours—it’s for the farmers and communities of Kintamani. The recognition brings fair value, promotes sustainable farming, and highlights Bali’s unique coffee culture.
At Eco Bike Coffee, this award strengthens our mission: to deliver quality coffee, empower local farmers, and build a sustainable ecosystem for Bali’s future.
From Kintamani’s highlands to the world—Eco Bike Coffee, one cup of excellence at a time.
